Penang Kassim Mustaffa

Went to Penang...Stayed in Seberang Jaya at my sister in law's house....Went out early in the morning for breakfast. Had 2 'roti telur' marvellous. Chowrasta hunting for all those tidbits and 'jeruk'. Bought some for friends at home. Hoped they will like it. Dare not try the beriani and nasi kandar...stomach was a bit 'jumpy' he he.....


p/s will be going back to KL this afternoon.

The peaceful Kangar....

Went to Kangar....visited Kavi's house... then to Alor Setar..My wife's friend.....They are living right at the paddy field. So breezy..the house is still being renovated by the wonderful husband. Known them like almost 10 years...so friendly...we talk a lot.

p/s: will be having a meeting at Putra Palace on the 23rd-25th Dec.

The School Meeting

The school meeting today ended at 3.00 pm started at 8.45 am. Many inputs, lots of new information. Some problems with the time table. Had to look through. Managed to tell the audiences the differences between ICT and ICTL where the L stands for Literacy to avoid confusion among the teachers. The BKG or Badan Kebajikan Guru was reelected. No new chairperson for this year still Pn. Norhayah. Gladly. if not we will be ending the meeting till four. It was a very fast and simple reelection. No argument thing were settled clean, fast and simple. School will reopens on the 2nd of January. I will be in charge of collecting this year fees. Hope will be able to do it well.

Went to Padang Besar. First to Sungai Petani to visit my brother there. Living at the teacher's quarter. we chose the Cinta Sayang Resort motel. enjoyed ourselves. Gained new experience.

Eid

Ramadan is over... Tomorrow is Eid...and also my 39th birthday. Managed to get 30 days of fasting. Thanks Allah for giving me the health, the strenght , will and this life to carry on my duty in this world full of responsibilities. Managed to complete some work for the 2008 ICTL Year 4 Modules.

What a month

after a long tiring month, my biggest project yet was tiling the car porch with B grade ceramic tiles. Missing the same type of tiles. will have to look for them in KL.What a day

Eastwood Golf Resort, Miri Sarawak.

Being away from the computer for quiet some time. Unable to update blog. How dependent i am to this technology. But, life goes on. Been to Miri from the 30th till the 2nd of August 2007 for the Year 3 ICTL Programme talk. Myself, Manroy, Linda, Adura, Syubly , Hanim and Mr K Samsudin the officer from the CDC Unit. Learnt and gained a lot of knowledge and experience. Thanks to all the Sarawakian teachers for the lovely gift. We will cherish it forever.

P/s : Unable to have a go at the golf driving range. It operates from 6.00 am till 9.00 pm. Missed it unlucky us!!

The Final Preparation.....

I missed a day of updating this blog. Been away from the computer. Wireless connection could not help. Tooooo Slooooooow. Only a bar. Huh!Final preparation before the big day ( a week from now ) It rained. I do not know what will happen to the lines but now it really need to be redo again. Work, work, work and more work. Will be preparing for the new time table.Due this Monday. Can i make it. i got time, i got time. Heh, heh, heh.
Checking the new pay rise schedule from JPA will ease the burden a bit but not quiet wealthy will we be. Ha! Ha!

Sports Practice

What a day...training the children for march pass. Still some tweaking needed. 12 days to go before the Sports Day. Hope Pendekar (Yellow house ) wins this Year. Last year we won with the help of our presentation for the march pass. Need to come out new ideas fast to win this year march pass competition. Field 99 percent completed. 1 percent will be for the staggers which will be done on Saturday if everything goes well. A hot day today.Managed to get the short put and high jump events completed today. Still have the Semi Final of the Tug of War for the boys and girls.Carried forward tomorrow.

Home Sweet Home....

At Home now. After a morning to noon of preparing the Secondary school field for our coming sports on 1st July this year.Unlucky for us our school field can only support the 50 metres Track and Field events diagonally. 80 percent of work completed. 20 percent more needed, staggers for the Track and Field will only be done on Saturday. Much more work to be done. As the technical chairperson i have to make sure everything should be in perfect order especially the line for the track and field events. Could not finish it today cause there is not enough oil for the lines. Will be asking for more from JKR tomorrow morning then start work again.
No news about the planned meeting. PTA meeting again this Saturday. Should be ready with answers.

p/s : Still hoping that rain should not fall this afternoon. If not have to redo the lines again tomorrow.

Black Monday

This is how the lawn look like after 2 hours of back breaking and sweating mowing. It's okay now what a relieve. Can't stand the look of it before this. Ooopppps ! forgot to take the picture of the lawn before and after being mowed. There is also picture of the Dam in Hulu Selangor that i mentioned in my earlier post. not that good in taking pictures of scenery.
Woke up this morning again with a headache. Got to check my blood pressure. Everything is not going according to plan. Stomachache before going out. have to visit the loo. Hope will not be late for school.HM called to his room. a lot of thing were said and i understand why.Went to New Town to get things settled. problems solved......For Now.

At Home

At home now, woke up this morning with a headache... After 2 hours of mowing the lawn...Ahhhh it is a relieve now no more headache..needs that exercise. After three weeks of delaying the work to mow the lawn..at last.Receive an sms from a friend..reminding me that i am a father...Coz today is father's day..Pluck the one and only mango from the mango tree..Put kicap , a little bit of sugar and chillies...wow this is heaven.Hope the mango tree will bear more fruits next month..Can't wait.

Langkawi Last Day

The time to say good bye. The dreaded word after each course or meeting that will bring up the soft part of me. work 95 percent completed. Sad to know that we are going to miss two other team members. Tih tih and Mawarni. They have chosen to go for `greener pasture' out of the routine they have now. Good Luck to both of them. Flight was cancelled. Had to wait till 2100 hrs for the next flight.There are a lot of changes to Langkawi since the last time i visited it with my family.Managed to get objectives done. Chocolates, chocolates, chocolates everywhere but no `nenas batu' coz the shops were all closed. Unlucky me..now have to think and come out with the best reason not to hurt one hopes and feelings.Went back to the hotel for dinner.
Reached KL Sentral around 2300 hrs waited for my sister to fetch me. Persuade her to take me home to Serendah.They will be spending the night at my house with my mother and brother in law.
Tn Haji Sofian, Dr Hajar, Dr Siti, Don, Lynn, En Samsudin, En. Rahman, En Amin, Hj. Haliza, Mawarni, Lim, Mimma, Linda, Mash, En. Hassan, Pn Balqis, En. Asraf, Jane, En Mustaffa, En. Wan the memory and experiences gained from and with all of you will be in my mind. Hope we will meet again.

p/s: Objectives to reach home using the public transport was a failure. Got to have backup plan B if there is a next time.

Langkawi Day 3

Had dinner last night in Bon Ton. Thinking of going out to Kuah to buy some things. Could not make it. Too tired. Fell asleep. Woke up at 6.30 this morning. Bath. Manage things to get ready to go home. Flight will be at 2025hrs ( not confirmed yet ) need endorsement. Short breakfast. Wearing Batik..by the way today is Friday the 15th...Maybe we can complete our Matrix by then.....
Hope to get some chocolate to bring back home. Hope to get the work done by then. My previous HM Puan Rohaya called asked to give a talk based on my time. not hers. Will need some planning to do before commiting myself.

p/s : Still trying to find time to get those chocolates.

Langkawi 2

Langkawi.....

Will be going to Langkawi today. Flight scheduled at 20.00 hrs tonight. JPS is dealing with the tickets booking and with the help of Mimma and Linda flight will be at night. Eventhough the registration is at 3.00. Right smack in the middle of the month...Oh man. Will be continuing the NSICSS ( National Students ICT Skills Standard ) in Langkawi.Maybe DON will be around not LYNN..Sheraton. Been looking through the proposed Standards..still some tweaking needed before it will be perfected. Will be going through the Commuter in Serendah then Rawang ( change platform ) Then KL Sentral Then ERL station Then KLIA then Langkawi...Phew.. Trying to use the public transportation to ease the burden of paying high parking rates..RM 43 per day in KLIA. My..my. Its a sacrifice one have to make to make things done. Sent the LADAB and The Analysis for the previous Mid Year English exam through a child to Ustazah Rosyati.

p/s Still excited wheter this trip i am taking will be something worth doing of or next time just park your car in Klang then took a taxi to KLIA.He He...it really worth trying. ;-)

A Pastime Activity

This is just a pic of my pastime activity that i did. Pasting time playing...or should i say releasing tension. It's Theatre of War a WW2 RTS game from Battlefront. I learnt how to script and did some mission based on the tutorial. Wonderful things can be done with it.
Next, i will be going to Taman Melawati to visit sister in law there then proceed to Sunway Pyramid. Perhaps...IMBI in Bukit Bintang.

Fraser's Hill

Today,i went to Fraser Hill wif my family.The journey took us about half an hour.The winding road made my family dizzy.The air was still cool and refreshing.When we arrived, the first thing that we did was to take a few pictures there but I could not show u the pics yet.There were many interesting places.We went to the strawberry farm and sat at the playground there.My family were bored because there weren't so many places that we can go .We can rent bicycles and to juz go joy riding it around.Speaking of 'riding',there is a place called The Paddock where we can ride horses and archery.It opens from 9.30 until 12.30.Then they have a break for two hours so it was closed until 2.00 pm.If we are lost,we can take a look at the huge map located in the city.....very helpful indeed.
Managed to stop by the largest dam in Hulu Selangor. Got many infos there....My..my.. what a coincidence...Bump up with the CCM club members. Managed to get form.. relaxing at home now...hope to start another morning to Melawati .... then comes Klang then Langkawi....sssssuch a busy week..again..Forgive me my child...Teacher is still not around again...
P/s came back home tired but happy.

Just returned from Kota Kinabalu, Sabah....on a 777 200 MAS aeroplane. Wow what an experience...... Learnt , gained and got a lot of experiences from the 7 days meeting with the members of the ICTL skills. Managed to get new inputs from Don and Lynn the consultant we brought with the funding from McSoft from USA representing ISTE.
Felt as an implementer and stake holder, there is still a lot of things that i do not understand, especially when dealing with the most wonderful creatures of the world ... known as humans. But as human being, myself the reflection portrayed the much weaknesses that i have in my life now.
It is really amazing to see how the humans brain works.......with ideas, suggestions and proposal. These were all to fulfill one goal......SATISFACTION. With this came the glorious word
"RESPONSIBILITY".
